TIMES MAKASSAR, GIANYAR – People might have been aware of Adiwana Hotels & Resorts, a luxury accommodation in Bali with all its luxurious facilities. Little did they know, there is someone stand behind the successful business of the hotel. It's Made Adiguna Kusuma, SE. MIHM, he is the CEO of this fancy resorts.
After completing his Master’s degree in international hotel management, Adiguna started to carve his steps in hospitality at several 5-star international hotel chains in Australia. He returned to his hometown in Ubud, Bali, to take charge of one of his hotel projects in the heart of the cultural city.
Completing the development in one and a half year and later successfully running Adiwana Resort Jembawan, the hotel gained much attention and attracted several investors to Adiguna’s development ability. This inspired him to create his own hotel management company under the name of Jeevawasa.

Taking its name from the ancient Balinese words “adi” and “wana” which means “vast forest”, Adiwana Resort Jembawan became the brand’s very first portfolio. Now in only four years, the brand has expanded to over 20 properties and ongoing projects, with exposure in Ubud, Tegallalang, Payangan, Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Penida, and the much anticipated Natuna Island.
The brand aims to enhance the definition of an intimate boutique resort, where attention to detail and the best quality of products and service excellence are served. Adiwana Hotels & Resorts is known to collaborate with local artists and world-renown architects and landscapists.
To name a few, Adiguna has taken Ground Kent Architect, Popo Danes, Made Wijaya (Michael White), and Nyoman Miyoga, to work together with him. Their collaboration engendered the intricate designs of each collection. This guuy keep his profile low yet he make sure that Adiwana Hotels & Resorts will be able to compete with international chains.

The CEO of Adiwana Hotels & Resorts which located at Jalan Jembawan Ubud, Bali also strives to promote sustainability in each aspect of the hotel development and operation. The young Ubud-grown businessman would like to envision an advanced economy and resources for the local community. (*)
