TIMESINDONESIA, BONDOWOSO – Seems like people have been waiting when will Ijen Crater Banyuwangi being reopened during these time. It’s shown from the huge enthusiasm of the visitors toward this place since its first day of being reopened several weeks ago.
On this weekend, Ijen Crater has welcome around 2.8386 visitors who wants to see its beautiful blue fire and the amazing scenery the place has. They mostly came from the neighborhood city such as Surabaya, Malang and more.
“We start the trip at 8 p.m. from Surabaya. And then we pitch a tent at Palduding at 01.00 early in the morning,” Hadiyono, a local visitor of Surabaya said. Along with four of his friend and dozens other hikers he started to hike to the crater at 2.30 a.m.
Still according to his story, his friends and him need, each of them need to pay the ticket for IDR 7,5 K. But unfortunately, he started to hike later than they expected that they missed the blue fire the crater gives them at night.
Hadiyono and his friends don’t use the help of tour guide to get to Ijen Crater Banyuwangi. “We found that this place has been reopened from the internet. We came here also with the help of Goggle Map,” he added. (*)
