TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – The management of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) Jakarta cooperate with the local Tourism Depattment of East Java installed a smart technology at East Java corner to pamper all the visitors.
"We presents this technology to all the visitors of TMII who visits East Java corner so they could learn and find out more about East Java and its culture," Sinarto, Tge Head of Tourism Department of East Java said on Friday (21/8/2020).
Taman Mini Indonesia Indah is a cultural-based amusement park located in Jakarta, West Java. This park presents Indonesia in smaller scale. This park was built in 1972 by Indonesian former lady back then, Siti Hartinah.
The tourism department will support the place by creating more eye catching spots for selfie. They will also add some technology that allows the visitors to interact and find out more about the history of local kingdoms, its culinary, the custom house and more.
Before the pandemic struck the country, East Java corner could welcome around 500 visitors in a day. Yet, they have had significant decrease during these days.
The local tourism department has also conducted some event at Eadt Java corner of TMII to attract more visitors coming to their corner. "We have invited several communities to join us on our event in order to introduce East Java more to the visitors," Sinarto added. (*)
